We really put this scale through its paces when we first got our hands on it. We were absolutely blown away by the quality and functionality for the price. Like many popular coffee scales, it offers 0.1g sensitivity (for the first 500g), a tare function and a built in timer, but it is also suitable for up to 3kg, giving you a bit more room to experiment than your typical coffee scale. It has a large LED display making it very easy to read.
It’s also lightning fast! We were very impressed with the scale’s response time, which can be an important consideration when brewing pour-over coffee. It also features a nice finishing touch with the addition of a removable silicone heat mat. It’s very solidly built and operates with three AAA batteries (these are not included with the scale).
